My area is below the transparent roof so i tried the tomatoes. I didn't put any fertilizer but a not very nutritious compost. It becomes leggy and yellowish, it needs both sunlight and nutrients. I planted them in just compost and they seem very happy. So far I picked four, but about eight more are ready. I eat them as fast as they are picked, just like a snack. When I start getting 10 or more a day, they will become salsa. Mine are early girls, but I do have pink heirlooms growing too.
